Registration is now open for the Short and Sweet Fall Retreat in Toronto, Ontario. To read more about the details see this post. If you have specific questions, please feel free to contact Dana at firstname.lastname@example.org. There are limited seats available so it is being offered on a first come first serve basis.
I have been asked a lot about whether or not this is a beginner or an intermediate level workshop...and the truth is, I feel that it is not a beginner workshop. THAT SAID...I don't turn away beginners because I know and have experienced first hand that we can all learn from each other. If there is a reason you are being drawn to this workshop, then I encourage you to come no matter what your skill level. My expectations are that you know how to use an SLR camera on full manual, as well as, that you have at least a basic understanding of professional editing software. There is a portfolio review part of the workshop, so you need to have images that you are prepared to share with the group.
I am so excited for the Toronto workshop, in part because it is being held at the studio of the wonderful Whim & Whistle Archival Co. Check it out:
This is the first time that I will be splitting the workshop into two days, so you have the opportunity to attend one or the other or BOTH. If you attend BOTH, you will receive a special invitation to a pre-workshop cocktail party on the Tuesday evening, as well as, one free 30 minute one-on-one session with me either during the course of the workshop or afterwards via Skype. You will also receive $100 off the total cost.
Soooo...$200 deposit/day is required to reserve your spot. This is a nonrefundable deposit, but may be sold to someone else.
