Giving Back

Every year about this time, I think...how can I give back?

This year, it has especially weighed heavy on my mind. Living in southern Alberta and hearing so many stories of people who have had a tough go of it this year has really got me thinking that I'd like to give back to one special family again this year. Especially hearing the stories of families, young and old, who have lost literally everything and are starting over after the devastating floods in June. I remember digging one family's house out and laying the photographs out to dry. Just a handful worth saving. So many memories lost forever. I would really like to help someone create new memories. Memories of resilience and courage and love. They don't have to be victims of the floods, but they do have to have a need for some Christmas cheer.

That's where you come in. I would like to encourage you all to nominate a family who could use some cheering up this Christmas to receive a $2000 photography package from me(a session and the complete set of digital files). What will you get for nominating? Well, if you nominate someone and then book a session with me in 2014, I will gift you a 12x18 print. The session does not have to be booked today, but it does have to be booked before the end of 2014.

Email me your nominations by midnight on December 24th(Christmas Eve). I will contact the winner on Christmas day to spread a little Christmas cheer. Make sure to include a contact email for both you and the person you are nominating.

Sooooo...do you know anyone who could use some cheering up this Christmas?

Thank you for helping me spread some cheer this Christmas.

Dana
